About ClassPro

We're building the operating system for schools.

What started as a single tool for one Lagos school is now powering education at 200+ institutions across three continents. We exist to give every school — no matter its size — the technology and confidence to do its best work.

Our story

From a single classroom to a continent of schools

ClassPro began in 2021 inside a primary school in Lekki, where our founder watched a school bursar spend three hours every Friday reconciling fee receipts by hand. Reports were photocopied. Parents called the front desk to ask about a single grade. The work was important — but the tools weren't keeping up.

What started as a weekend project to digitize one fee book grew, school by school, into something bigger. Teachers asked if it could mark attendance. Parents asked for notifications. Principals asked for the bigger picture. We listened — and we kept building.

Today, ClassPro is used in 14 countries by everyone from single-stream village schools to multi-campus international institutions. But the goal hasn't changed since day one: make the work of running a school feel less like firefighting and more like building something lasting.

"We're not trying to replace educators. We're trying to give them back the hours they lose to paperwork — so they can spend that time on what actually matters: their students." Edward Donatus · Co-founder and CEO

What drives us

Our mission & vision

Two simple statements that guide every decision, every line of code, and every customer conversation.

Our Mission

Empower every school to thrive — administratively, financially, and academically.

We build the everyday tools that turn a school's good intentions into measurable outcomes. From fee collection to grade books, our job is to make the operational invisible — so the educational can take center stage.

Our Vision

A world where no school is held back by outdated tools.

We picture a future where a village primary in Kano has the same operational leverage as a private academy in London. Where great teaching isn't limited by paperwork. Where every child's progress is visible, every parent informed, every administrator empowered.

What we believe

The principles we build by

Six values that shape how we work, what we ship, and who we hire.

01 / Principle

Schools first, always

Every feature gets one test: does it make a real school's day easier? If it doesn't, it doesn't ship — no matter how clever it is.

02 / Principle

Trust is non-negotiable

Schools hand us their most sensitive data. We treat that responsibility with the seriousness it deserves — through encryption, audits, and full data ownership.

03 / Principle

Simple beats clever

A teacher should be able to mark attendance in seconds, not minutes. If a feature needs a training video to explain it, we redesign it.

04 / Principle

Listen, then build

Our best features didn't come from a roadmap — they came from a bursar's frustration or a principal's question. We're in the field, not the boardroom.

05 / Principle

Built for everywhere

From low-bandwidth rural connections to multi-campus enterprises, ClassPro is designed to work — not just look good in a demo.

06 / Principle

Care over hype

We'd rather have one delighted school than ten lukewarm logos. Long-term relationships beat short-term wins, every time.
